Here are a few tips to help you choose the happiness:

  1. Know what you want to achieve and why.

The lack of clear direction will stress you out. A lack of direction, however, does not mean a lack of time. This is where problems arise when it comes to personal achievements. Each of us has the same 24-hours day and the same 7-days week.

When you want to achieve something make sure your mind is clear – make sure to only focus on what you want and why you want it. Nobody could achieve a goal if they don’t know what exactly it is.

  1. Do less but focus on the most important things

The mastery of personal productivity lies in doing the important stuff, not the urgent ones. In other words, let the first things come first. Concentrate on what is important and eliminate the rest.

  1. Focus on development, not on perfection

Don’t worry about being perfect – you are never going to be. Instead, focus on the progress you’ve made so far and the progress you are about to make in the future.

Progress is not something automatic, nor unavoidable. Each step of your personal development requires work and sacrifices. Every step is part of moving forward. Every step is an achievement that needs to be celebrated.

  1. Clear your heart

Same as your body needs cleaning every day because it gets dirty, your heart also needs to be cleaned. Every day people hurt you, insult you, forget about you, despise you and reject you. However, if you choose to forgive these people you free yourself from this negativity and at the end of the day, you clear your hearth. Next morning you are going to feel fresh and free from all the negativity. Give up on carrying old regrets and distractive thoughts.

  1. Release yourself from the stress

You need to adopt a new way of thinking before adopting a new lifestyle. There is a wrong idea standing behind each thing you stress about. You were not suffering before this idea came up. When you realise that the idea is wrong, you will stop suffering. Change your thoughts and thus change your life.

  1. Accept stress and let go of it

The most interesting paths that lead us to the most exciting places are usually filled with the most challenges.

Stress is like a wall between two quiet gardens – the garden you are in and the garden you want to be in. You have to climb the wall in front of you, learn things on your way, and let go when you reach the other side. You will only miss out if you never climb or never let go.

  1. Take care of your body

A good workout is the best way to relieve stress. Moreover, being in good shape is always in fashion. Looking good is also a journey, a constant fight and a way of life. It is a slow process which requires time, sometimes even years. However, as you know, every long journey starts with a small step. It is up to you to make that step and start exercising half an hour to a whole hour every day.   

  1. Make one thing that is good for you each day

Put yourself on top of the list of priorities. There is no other person that deserves your kindness and attention more than you. When you love yourself everything else comes into place. Give yourself something special every day – some laugh, a good conversation, meditation, reading, a long walk, one hour of practising your favourite hobby, etc. You deserve it.

  1. Simplify

Don’t agonise. Just organise. Keep your space clean and do not fill up your whole schedule. Give yourself some space to relax, some space to make mistakes, some space to think and to breathe.

This way you can explore the opportunities to be happier every day.
